Holland Elected Chapter President 
Louise Holland, Chattanooga Tax Office, was elected as the 2009-2010 President of the Tennessee IAWP Chapter at our recent meeting held in Nashville.  Cindy Key, Human Resources, will continue serving on the Executive Board as Treasurer and Tim Witt, Tennessee Career Center in Knoxville, will serve on the board as Past President.  When the 2009-2010 Subchapter Presidents are elected for Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Nashville, they will join Holland, Key, and Witt on the board.  The chapter voted to not have 1st and 2nd Vice Presidents for 2009-2010.
 
Carl T. Anderson Scholarship

The Carl T. Anderson Scholarship Fund was established by the 1994 Executive Board. Mr. Anderson, having been a respected and active employee and member of IAWP, was honored to allow his name used in a way that would benefit college bound students.  The scholarship is funded solely by donations “In Honor” of someone or “In Memory” of someone.

2009 IAWP Membership Drive

IAWP Membership Drive
Tennessee IAWP Chapter President Tim Witt has announced that the 2009 membership drive is underway.  Dues are $45 for employees and $21 for retirees.  The goal of the membership drive is to have everyone who is joining to be a paid member by February 13, 2009.  It's important that we have good numbers to report to Commissioner Neeley when we request approval to have a Spring Conference.
